IMPLANTS – a third set of teeth??
Where a tooth is missing completely dental implants may be
the answer.
A titanium implant can replace the tooths own root, allowing a false tooth to be fitted permanently into the jaw – just like a real tooth
They can also provide a firm and comfortable base for dentures.
Dental implants are essentially titanium posts which is inserted into the gum, and then left in place for 3-6 months, during this time the bone surrounding the implant will grow and bond with the impant holding it firmly in place. When the implant has integrated fully a crown or denture can be fitted over it.
With current technology, including ct scans it is possible to provide replacement teeth quicker and more accurately than ever before – even the same day.
The cost has stabilized over the past few years and prices now start at £1750.00 for an implant supported crown, inclusive of all components and xrays
